- 37% of interested prospects take 0-3 months to become customers
- 28% of interested prospects take 3-6 months to become customers
- 18% of interested prospects take 6-12 months to become customers
- 17% of interested prospects take more than one year to become customers
And with these numbers in mind, do you know why most sales and marketing people still do not see any results?
- 48% of these people give up after the first contact
- 25% more give up after the second contact
12% stop trying after the third contact- 5% simply stop after the fourth contact
- 90% of leads never get followed up more than four times!

All Work And No Rest Make You A Poor Salesman…
I will be sharing this article from Coach Steve of Vito Selling which really hit a nail in my head of what sales is really all about in relations to well needed rest, the drive and sales success.
In sales, its really all about numbers, you hit the numbers, you climb to the top of chart and everybody starts adoring you. You get to have whatever you want - the rest, the money and etc. Thats good and well deserving. Whereas…
If you do not hit the numbers, you force yourself to the max and keep moving on without rest. Without you actually knowing it, you are killing yourself sooner than you think. It will be like a vicious cycle.

Welcome to the world of sales - all the prospecting, the cold/warm calls, the sales presentations, the follow ups, the rejections and the fruits of all these - the signing of the deals.
