Building Relationships Takes Time and Requires Patience

If you are into sales and marketing, start to consider this:

  • 37% of interested prospects take 0-3 months to become customers
  • 28% of interested prospects take 3-6 months to become customers
  • 18% of interested prospects take 6-12 months to become customers
  • 17% of interested prospects take more than one year to become customers

And with these numbers in mind, do you know why most sales and marketing people still do not see any results?

  • 48% of these people give up after the first contact
  • 25% more give up after the second contact
  • 12% stop trying after the third contact
  • 5% simply stop after the fourth contact
  • 90% of leads never get followed up more than four times!

The moral of the story? You must be committed to devoting your time and patience necessary to convert these prospects. Don’t give up!

All Work And No Rest Make You A Poor Salesman…

I will be sharing this article from Coach Steve of Vito Selling which really hit a nail in my head of what sales is really all about in relations to well needed rest, the drive and sales success.

In sales, its really all about numbers, you hit the numbers, you climb to the top of chart and everybody starts adoring you. You get to have whatever you want - the rest, the money and etc. Thats good and well deserving. Whereas…

If you do not hit the numbers, you force yourself to the max and keep moving on without rest. Without you actually knowing it, you are killing yourself sooner than you think. It will be like a vicious cycle.

You are tired, you got no energy to do sales, you get bad numbers and you get demoralized and you force yourself to move even harder than before and back to square one - you are tired… You get what I mean… After reading this article, you know what you need to do… Rest! Enjoy…

Face it, the sky is the limit when it comes to earning potentials for a sales career.

I will also not deny the fact that the turnover rate in the sales industry is the highest despite the high earnings possibility. Companies normally will not hold any of these people back. They will just recruit more and train more. This process will go on.

So how to make sure your sales career is one of those rewarding or even more so - memorable…

How Negative Thinking Can Help To Convince Your Prospects during Your Sales Presentation

If you are reading the above title, I’m not saying that you have to have a negative thinking mindset. What I am referring to is to have this mindset in preparing for your sales presentation kit.

A normal sales presentation kit to show to your prospects will consist like company history, their achievements, their products or services and all the boring stuff. Think in the prospects’ position… Yes, you got it: “Yawns.. when will this end?” Now, if you have your presentation kit beside you, see if you have this inside… Read on…

Sales PresentationIf you are into any form of sales, business or marketing, a sales presentation is part of the deal.
